Lesson 14 :Floating Menus over Flash Objects

If you ever attempt to use a Flash object in any of your Joomla articles or Joomla Modules, you might encounter this problem

Flash by default is display above all HTML elements on the page. This can be exceptionally annoying if you have floating menus on your page that goes under your flash object instead of above it.

Users cannot navigate your website properly when this problem occurs. It fix this problem you will need to add the following lines to your flash object

add <param name="wmode" value="transparent" /> between your <object> </object>tags
add wmode="transparent" within <embed >

Once that is done when your mouse hover over your main menus, your sub menus which appear will float over the flash animation as well.

Please note: while many attempts to use z-index as a solution it does not work.
